Era. Squash, founded at the start of 2025 by Chanel Erasmus and Megan van Drongelen, is a female squash community focused on growing female participation in the sport, bringing women together, and making squash clubs a more female friendly and welcoming environment for women and girls.
Both Megan and Chanel studied and played squash abroad, and have always realized that great things can happen when women come together. Through their own personal experiences abroad, and a need to fill the gap of this male dominated sport, they joined forces to revolutionize the sport. They make it more accessible for women and girls to start playing squash by hosting monthly clinics and events, and partnering with brands and squash clubs to make spaces more welcoming and female focused.
Chanel & Megan both have a passion for bringing people together and creating opportunities for women to thrive in. They joined foreces in 2024 to launch era. in the Netherlands and to help promote the game of squash, increase female participation, and provide an opportunity for women to connect and network with like minded and inspiring women.
